Soho House, a London-based luxury membership club, announced plans to open on East Bay Street downtown. The news was so big it was covered by the Post & Courier, Holy City Sinner and Eater Carolinas. And I'm devoting a special section to it! š¤£

The New Cooper Hotel Is Coming Along
Referred to as the āYounger, cooler sister to Charleston Place,ā Cooper Hotel is slated for a 2025 opening. The six-story waterfront hotel being built along Charleston Harbor has faced a series of challenges ā from engineering complications and pandemic-related delays to a complete interior redesign ā but The Cooperās ownership says the propertyās upgrade to a āfive-starā lodging will be worth the wait.

Construction Underway On New West Ashley Development
West Ashley has always been a terrific place to live. But relative to areas like Mount Pleasant and Summerville, it's also been, as we call it, "under-retailed"
A developer is working to fix that with a new project that will include space for 12-15 retailers and restaurants.

Memorial Waterfront Park Begins Phase III Expansion
Major renovations have begun at the Memorial Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant. The phase III expansion of the Memorial Waterfront Park will bring an array of attractions to the Mount Pleasant community.
Additions will include a dog park and pickleball courts!
